As part of the SXSW student content team, it was my job to transcribe notes from Keynotes, Featured Sessions and film screening Q&As. I attended talks given by journalists, activists and innovators to allow quick turnaround on quotes and highlights to be featured on the festival’s social media accounts.
Festival
SXSW is an experience full of art and culture. One of our jobs was to capture the atmosphere of the festival, going to installations or getting crowd shots from different events.
Music
I was able to highlight musical artists and create photo and video content to showcase their talent for the world to see. Being able to freeze a moment in time to share the feeling of each performance with the world through social media was an awesome experience.
