Hi, my name is Beth Bruch and I’m a Digital Media Innovation student at Texas State!
I’m the Social Media Director for my school’s chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). I enjoy learning new things and traveling to different states and national parks. I love traveling, visiting national parks and spending time outdoors.
SXSW 2022 – 2023
For the past two spring breaks, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin with the Texas State SJMC student content team. Feel free to check out some of the work I did for the festival!
AAF
As the Social Media Director for AAF TXST, I’ve coordinated main timeline posts and stories for the organization, as well as doing regular maintenance for our website.
Study In America
The intersection of technology and media with nature is a personal passion of mine. SIA’s Storytelling in the Parks program created an opportunity for me to express that passion.
Leadhub
During the Fall of 2022, I worked at Leadhub as one of their Social Media Interns. I was tasked with creating weekly Facebook posts for five clients across the US.
Texas State Affirmations
What started off as a fun inside joke between me and my friends soon became a campus sensation. @txstateffirmations is a Texas State-themed Instagram account meant to create a lighthearted atmosphere for students and staff.

I love going to concerts and seeing live performances. My two favorite bands are Greta Van Fleet and Fleet Foxes. I’ve been lucky enough to see both live!
